Kadu

Kadu has been equipped in three modules allowing docking aplication's icon in the system tray. Two of them allow to dock the icon in the systray (it's usually the area next to the clock). These modules are: x11_docking and wmaker_docking. Unfortunately in some window managers these modules doesn't work properly or they doesn't work at all.
To provide this functionality to users of other window managers we recommend using the desktop_docking module. Filozofia jego działania jest odmienna od tej dla dwóch pozostałych - moduł nie próbuje "wstrzelić się" w tackę systemową, ale rysuje swoją ikonę dokującą w dowolnym miejscu ekranu. Moduł znajduje się w osobnym pakiecie binarnym, nazwanym kadu-desktop_docking. Możesz go ściągnąć z repozytorium pakietów dla Twojej dystrybucji.

How to configure it?
After loading the module a "Desktop Docking" tab should appear in Kadu configuration window. You can enter the coordinates of the icon (horizontal and vertical in pixels counting from the top left corner), choose the level of transparency and choose the background color of the icon. Enabling Enable icon moving on desktop adds Move option after right clicking on the icon.
Choosing Move from the menu or pressing the Move button allows to change the position of the icon by dragging.
